The Office of The Fire Marshal has the duty to respond to all confirmed structure fires. The job of the investigator is to gather and process statements and evidence as to the occurrence of the fire. The investigator will then process all statements and evidence and then compile a formal fire investigation report as to the classification and reason how and why the fire started.
