"The mission of the Guilford Fire Department is to provide the highest quality fire protection, emergency medical services, fire prevention, safety education, community services, mitigation of emergency and non-emergency incidents for the citizens and visitors to the town of Guilford. Our service delivery is enhanced through training, education, planning, and teamwork. We will safely achieve our mission while remaining fiscally responsible throughout the effective and proficient use of all resources."

The State of Connecticut has implemented a state-of-the-art emergency notification system to alert residents anywhere in the state about life-threatening emergency conditions.

 

You can get emergency alerts sent to you on any communication device that you use, such as your cell phone, email, text message, or certain hearing impaired devices, just by providing your information, and keeping it updated on this site.

The Guilford Mass Notification System – Community Notification System provides accurate, immediate notifications from the Town of Guilford to your mobile, work or home phone, via text, e-mail or voice message. Receive notifications about things that may affect your home, workplace, parents’ home, or any other locations within the Town of Guilford.
