Guilford Fire Department Sponsors Valley Shore Mutual Aid Heavy Vehicle Extrication Class

On November 13th & 14th 2021, The Guilford Fire Department hosted a class teaching area responders how to deal with vehicle incidents involving heavy vehicles. Students were instructed on how to lift heavy vehicles and extricate patients who may be involved in accidents involving this equipment. The tools that Guilford Fire Department has were put to the test as numerous different scenarios were presented by lead instructor Assistant Chief Robert Morris and his team. Assistant Chief Morris is a retired Captain from FDNY Rescue Co#1 and brought incredible knowledge and experience to the class.
