Guilford Fire Chief Named Fire Service Instructor of The Year
Guilford Fire Department Fire Chief Charles Herrschaft was recently honored as the 2019 Fire Service Instructor of The Year. Chief Herrschaft received the Richard Pratt Sylvia award for his dedication towards the fire service. This award is given to individuals who display leadership in promoting and supporting fire service education through instruction. The award was presented to Fire Chief Herrschaft Wednesday night at a special awards dinner held at The Gallery in Glastonbury, CT.
