Guilford Firefighters Compete in this years Old Saybrook Fire Competition
Members from The Guilford Fire Department competed in this years Old Saybrook Fire Competition. Every year firefighters from surrounding towns compete in many different obstacle courses that test their abilities to work together as a team. Objectives that must be completed in each event are timed and judged. The team with the quickest times wins the competition. This year Guilford Firefighters acheived the following in each event:
First Place
Add a length
Hydrant Dressing (Cadets)
Drafting
Second Place
Color Guard
Third Place
Running Hose
Guilford Firefighters were awarded overall First Place for their performance in the competition.
