MISSION STATEMENT
"The mission of the Guilford Fire Department is to provide the highest quality fire protection, emergency medical services, fire prevention, safety education, community services, mitigation of emergency and non-emergency incidents for the citizens and visitors to the town of Guilford. Our service delivery is enhanced through training, education, planning, and teamwork. We will safely achieve our mission while remaining fiscally responsible throughout the effective and proficient use of all resources."

	April 9, 2008 - The town of Guilford has approved the hiring of 4 new probationary firefighters to start in January of 2009. Check our employment page for further details. Click Here *February 26, 2008* Guilford volunteer firefighter Kyle Winters has just been hired by the Guilford Fire Department for a full time position as a Firefighter\EMT, Congratulations Kyle. February 2008 -Guilford fire department is featured in Fire Engineering's online database for a temporary sprinkler system to be used in live fire training in acquired structures. The system was designed and built by Asst. Chief Wayne Vetre. Click here for Article January 5, 2008 -Guilford Firefighters Participate In Live Fire Training on Boston Post Road to assist Fire Engineering with the filming of a new training video.
